Architects Offer Cheaper House Extensions

March 13, 2009, 4:36 pm

JDA architects are delighted to hear of that new proposals are to come into force within the next few months which will mean that house extensions will be cheaper, not only is the Government looking into reducing VAT to 5% but also to waive the need for planning permission if the extension is less than 50 sq m. These new proposals also include allowing small businesses to make minor alterations without needing full planning permission. For expert advice on your house extension or small business alterations please contact JDA LINKS The RIBA are angry that the action is not swifter:- http://www.bdonline.co.uk/story.asp?storycode=3136073&origin=BDweeklydigest
